About Fenty Quenty Gallery

The Story

Child’s Play began with the simplest of inspirations: my daughter’s drawings. At first, they seemed like the kind of sketches every child makes — hundreds of them, scattered, fragile, usually destined to be forgotten. But I couldn’t throw them away. I remembered how, as a child myself, I struggled to let go of drawings and objects, each one carrying a trace of memory.

That feeling stayed with me. So instead of discarding them, I transformed them. With Houdini, filtering, and a custom VEX system, I found a way to take these fleeting marks and move them into another dimension — a dimension where they carry permanence, presence, and resonance.

The Artist’s Path

For more than twenty years, I worked in the UK as a VFX artist, creating commercials, game cinematics, and high-end productions at the highest level of craft. It was a demanding career, but there was always a part of me that remained unfulfilled — a creative space in my mind that wasn’t touched by simulations, deadlines, or client briefs.

Child’s Play is where that space finally finds its voice. It is not about serving a studio or a brand — it is about completing something personal, finishing a conversation with my own imagination, and sharing it through the lens of my daughter’s.

The Process

Every artwork begins with a child’s drawing — direct, playful, and unfiltered. These sketches are scanned, vectorized, and then re-engineered through Houdini. At the core lies a custom VEX system of around fifty lines of code, expanded through filtering and node-based composition.

This balance of minimal code and layered node logic allows the drawing to evolve into precise geometry, structured color fields, and abstract forms. It is a dialogue: the raw mark of a child’s hand meeting the rigor of digital craft.

The Artwork

Phygital Editions – Museum-grade prints paired with NFT twins for provenance and authenticity.

Limited Runs – Strictly capped editions, signed and numbered. Rarity is guaranteed.

Unique Storytelling – Each artwork begins as a child’s drawing and evolves into a new dimension of permanence.

For Collectors

Owning a Child’s Play piece means holding a work that connects deeply personal history with technical mastery. Each edition carries:

The innocence of a child’s imagination.

The precision of procedural craft.

A rarity that endures and grows in value over time.

This gallery is a space where what might have been discarded — the everyday drawings of a child — is reimagined into art that speaks universally.
